oecd skills strategy - recent

oecd

The OECD published it's skill strategy in May 2012. Integrating evidence, research and experience from across the oecd countries,it will encourage peer learning and help develop more effective skills policies to support recovery, growth and social inclusion across the oecd countries. It focuses not only on raising skill levels, but better matching of them with skill needs;activation of existing skills;and raising the demand for skills.

I have undertaken on their behalf ,over the period january to march 2012,a review of approaches to skill strategies across oecd countries as a contribution to the publication. This has now been published by LLAKES in December 2012.I was also a member of the Advisory Group supporting the development of the strategy
